POSITION DESCRIPTION:Oversees the entire beverage manufacturing process, ensuring efficient and high-quality production. This role involves managing staff,maintainingquality control, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. They also manage budgets,optimizeresources, and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals.

LOCATION: The position is based on-site at DrinkPAK's facility in Santa Clarita, California.

TYPE: Full Time; Salaried / Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the packaging operations including planning, scheduling, staffing, and performance.

  • Ensure packaging lines run efficiently, safely, and within budget while meeting quality standards.

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for packaging activities.

  • Monitorand develop action plans forkey performance indicators (KPIs) such as efficiency, downtime, andyield.

  • Collaborate with production, quality,logistics, maintenance, and supply chain teamsto streamline operations.

  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Develops and leads a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, investing in employee growth, and driving performance through structured coaching and development plans.

  • Owns team capability and succession planning by partnering with cross-functional leaders to align talent development, training strategy, and long-term workforce needs with businessobjectives.

  • Train, coach, and evaluate packaging team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Identifyand implement process improvements, automation opportunities, andyield improvinginitiatives.

  • Participate in new product launches, ensuringsuccessful new product launches.

  • Manage staffing, attendance, and other disciplinary processes as it relates to the packaging operation

  • Drive world class sanitation and equipment cleaning practices for packaging areas. 

  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet product specifications and compliance standards.

  • Collaborate with the Quality team to address any quality deviations or concerns.

  • Lead root cause analysis toidentifyandeliminateissues within the batching operation

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least5+ years of experience in a manufacturing/packaging environment. 

  • At least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of packaging machinery, automation, and production flow.

  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

  • Proficientin usingmanufacturing software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
