Position Summary
The Manager of Order Set Operations is responsible for the operational support, sustainment, and optimization of Meditech Expanse order set content across live hospital facilities, aligned to the enterprise Central Order Set Strategy. This role ensures the stability, accuracy, and usability of standardized order set content through effective break/fix management, controlled content updates, and strong governance practices.
Reporting to the Director of Expanse Provider Operations, this leader manages a team of analysts and leads who support order set content maintenance, issue resolution, and ongoing optimization. The role partners closely with clinical leadership, informatics, governance councils, and shared service teams to ensure order sets remain clinically appropriate, standardized, and operationally effective while minimizing variation and disruption to patient care.
The ideal candidate brings strong people leadership, deep understanding of clinical workflows, and hands-on experience supporting live EMR clinical content in a high-availability healthcare environment.
