HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Nurse Manager of the Operating Room at a facility in upstate NY.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Needs to lead daily clinical and operational functions within a busy surgical services department containing 15+ operating rooms.
- Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, this leader will oversee approximately 60 FTEs.
- Provide hands-on leadership in daily OR operations, fostering strong staff engagement, supporting a collaborative team environment, and ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality surgical care delivery.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree preferred
- Experience: Strong operating room experience; Previous operating room leadership experience in an acute care setting required; experience in a Magnet-designated facility preferred.
- License: Active NY RN License required
- Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association
- Computer Skills: Information systems experience (EPIC) and Microsoft Officer suite
