This position is a Manager of Software Development position who will report directly to the Senior Director of Software Architecture, Clinical Development & Innovation. This candidate will have strong experience in leading software development teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong development background as well as design and architectural experience. In addition, this candidate will also be expected to establish and drive adoption of best practices for architectural and coding patterns, DevOps practices and framework usage. This candidate will have a track record of leadership of successful projects in a fast-paced, mixed team (consultant and employee) environment.
The primary purpose of the position is to provide technical leadership and expertise for developing and supporting new and existing software products within Clinical Development & Innovation at HCA. This position requires a candidate who can lead and oversee the design, construction, testing, and implementation of solutions in an Agile Development environment. The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter and must be committed to delivering high quality solutions within agreed upon timelines. Ultimately, the candidate’s success will be evaluated by the performance advances the entire Clinical Development team is able to achieve on a consistent basis.
