Working closely with the Client Services Director, Retail leadership, and Corporate Marketing, this individual ensures that growth initiatives are organized, measurable, and aligned with long-term revenue goals. The role enables leadership to focus on client relationships and business development by coordinating priorities, driving accountability, and helping position the practice for sustained success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Growth Strategy & Planning

    • Support the development and execution of annual, quarterly, and strategic retail growth plans.
    • Partner with the Client Services Director to identify target accounts, market priorities, and growth opportunities.
    • Help translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
    • Monitor progress toward revenue objectives and recommend adjustments as business priorities evolve.

    Pipeline & Pursuit Management

    • Coordinate pursuit activity across active opportunities and target accounts.
    • Maintain visibility into the Retail pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking.
    • Oversee proposal development, interview preparation, and pursuit coordination.
    • Drive follow-through across pursuits to ensure timely execution and accountability.

    Performance & Business Intelligence

    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key growth metrics and KPIs.
    • Analyze pipeline performance, win rates, market activity, and revenue trends.
    • Provide leadership with actionable insights that support informed business decisions.
    • Help identify opportunities to improve pursuit effectiveness and overall growth performance.

    Marketing & Leadership Alignment

    • Serve as the primary coordination point between Retail leadership and Corporate Marketing.
    • Help prioritize conferences, industry events, sponsorships, speaking engagements, and client-facing activities that support growth objectives.
    • Coordinate internal communications, priorities, and follow-up across growth initiatives.
    • Ensure alignment between marketing efforts, pursuit strategy, and business development goals.

    Client Services Support

    • Enable the Client Services Director and Retail leadership to focus on client engagement and relationship development.
    • Operate as a strategic thought partner by anticipating needs, identifying priorities, and driving execution.
    • Represent the Retail practice in selected internal and external meetings, events, and industry activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor''''s degree in Marketing, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Design Strategy, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in business development, client services, marketing, growth strategy, or a related role within the commercial architecture, interior design, engineering, commercial real estate, or professional services industry.
    • Experience supporting complex pursuits, proposals, and strategic account planning.
    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple initiatives while managing competing priorities.
    • Strong analytical skills with experience tracking KPIs, pipeline metrics, and business performance.
    • Exceptional organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • Highly collaborative with the ability to influence across multiple teams and leadership levels.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
