We provide trauma-informed treatment and recovery support services for women with substance use and co-occurring disorders, fostering a safe, supportive environment where women can heal, grow, and build lasting recovery.
Why This Role Matters
The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational functioning of the organization across programs and administrative areas. This role ensures that systems, facilities, logistics, and workflows operate efficiently and consistently to support high-quality services.
By coordinating across departments and managing core operations, the Operations Manager helps create the foundation that allows staff and programs to focus on delivering effective, client-centered care.
What You’ll Do
Agency Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day operational needs across the organization
  • Ensure facilities, environments, and shared spaces are safe, functional, and well-maintained
  • Coordinate logistics across programs, including scheduling support, space utilization, and resource allocation
  • Identify and resolve operational issues proactively
Facilities & Vendor Management
  • Oversee facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and safety
  • Supervise the Maintenance Specialist and coordinate daily priorities
  • Manage relationships with property manager and external vendors (cleaning, maintenance, security, etc.)
  • Ensure timely resolution of facility and equipment needs
Systems & Process Coordination
  • Develop and maintain efficient operational processes and workflows
  • Support implementation of new systems, procedures, and organizational initiatives
  • Track and monitor operational needs, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure consistent execution of policies and operational standards
Cross-Department Communication
  • Serve as a central point of coordination across programs and administrative functions
  • Facilitate communication between teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Support leadership in aligning operational priorities across the organization
Quality & Compliance Support
  • Support adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in monitoring operational components of compliance (safety, environment, documentation processes)
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure readiness for audits and inspections
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred, with at least 4 years of relevant operations experience; or 6–8 years of relevant, demonstrated operations experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong follow-through and accountability
  • Experience managing vendors, facilities, or operational systems 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to day-to-day operational needs 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
  • Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or behavioral health settings 
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment

Work Environment
  • Full-time position
  • Primarily weekday hours, with flexibility to address urgent operational needs as they arise on both nights and weekends.
  • Ability to walk the campus including exterior areas with gravel lot and uneven surfaces, and the ability to navigate several flights of stairs.
