A Manager of Labor and Delivery RN opportunity is available in Corpus Christi, TX with a six-hospital regional system serving Corpus Christi and the surrounding Coastal Bend community. The Women's Center — home to a NICU unit and a graduate medical education program — is the hub of this role.

The role. Reporting to the Director, this manager leads a team of 80 FTEs across a unit comprising 19 labor beds, 5 OB ED beds, and 3 surgical suites. The manager oversees the daily operations and staffing of the Labor and Delivery unit, monitors and evaluates nursing care delivery against established policies and procedures, and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes. On a rotating basis — every third week for one week — the manager provides on-call coverage for Postpartum, Antepartum, and Labor and Delivery, handling phone calls and emergency notifications as needed.

What we're looking for.
  • 1+ years of RECENT (WITHIN THE LAST YEAR) leadership experience within L&D
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
