Drive the design, planning, and delivery of application features by strictly adhering to OIT architectural standards and industry-leading best practices. Ensure all project outcomes are robust, secure, and fully compliant with organizational governance policies.
Provide direct supervision for staff, fostering a high-performance environment rooted in accountability and empowerment. Lead the daily operations, team coordination, and professional growth of direct reports.
Execute annual performance management cycles, including the development of metrics-based staff plans and the completion of bi-annual performance reviews. Proactively mentor staff to align individual career growth with departmental and organizational objectives.
Oversee fiscal responsibilities by identifying and presenting data-driven recommendations for upcoming budget needs, ensuring alignment with department business objectives and optimizing resource allocation within financial constraints.
Actively engage in improving leadership skills, attitudes, and knowledge, especially as related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Attend training, development, and group training on topics of inclusive leadership.
To be successful in this role, you must be a forward-thinking leader who thrives on both strategic vision and hands-on tactical operation. We are looking for a candidate who brings a systematic, goal-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision-making, ensuring that every challenge is met with a clear, deliberate solution. You should possess the influence to work effectively across functional boundaries, building alignment and driving performance even outside your direct sphere of control.
Above all, you must embody an innovative mindset-someone who proactively challenges the status quo to identify better processes and demonstrate strong change management skills by successfully guiding individuals and teams through transitions toward a desired future state.
