The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates (The League) is seeking a full-time Manager of Advocacy Engagement to join our Advocacy team. We're looking for a highly organized, collaborative professional with exceptional communication skills who can effectively manage complex projects, balance competing priorities, and clearly articulate impact, context, and program rationale. The League provides a platform for advocacy, collaboration, and innovation, representing nearly 400 credit unions in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia and their more than 33 million members, and over $467 billion in assets. The League advances and supports credit unions through advocacy, engagement, Foundation resources, and LEVERAGE products and services.
As the Manager of Advocacy Engagement, you will play a key role in advancing the credit union movement by educating and engaging credit unions on the importance of political and grassroots advocacy. You will develop and execute grassroots engagement strategies, including credit union outreach, educational programs, advocacy campaigns, and calls to action that drive participation and achieve departmental engagement goals. Working closely with the Senior Director of Advocacy Engagement, you will support fundraising strategy, execution, and operational processes while collaborating with state and federal lobbyists to coordinate advocacy efforts, mobilize advocates, advance legislative priorities, and increase PAC participation. You will also support legislative initiatives at both the state and federal levels. This highly collaborative role requires frequent interaction with credit unions throughout The League's footprint in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia.

Work Schedule:
As a Manager of Advocacy Engagement, you will regularly travel throughout The League's footprint in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia to support advocacy initiatives, member engagement, and industry events. This role requires overnight travel, a valid driver's license, and preferably access to reliable personal transportation.
