The Team Manager owns and leads the Nurse Family Partnership program. Focus is on daily operations and coordination of nursing team activities to provide comprehensive nursing services to women and their families enrolled in the NFP. The Team Manager actively participates in setting standards and decision making that results in meeting PI-HS and NFP goals. Takes the initiative to learn, develop and support shared governance and collaborative relationships, care and cost-effective services. The Team Manager assists with business plans, and clinical and resource utilization. The Team Manager interfaces with other agency personnel, physicians, Perinatl Nurse Consultant at the State of Alaska to ensure effective teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor''s Degree BSN from an accredited/approved school of Nursing
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • 2 years of recent experience in maternal/child health, public health, home care or mental/behavioral health nursing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of Clinical supervisory or management experience in the assigned technical or professional area.
  • Home visiting experience.

The successful candidate''s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
