Job Description Reporting to the Director of Capital Planning & Construction, the Maintenance Reserve Manager is primarily responsible for tracking, planning, and implementing Radford Universitys maintenance reserve (MR) program. The position will manage multiple simultaneous MR construction projects across all Radford University campuses.

Required Qualifications • Education, training, and experience in a field related to construction • Experience with the design & construction of complex building and infrastructure projects across diverse building construction methods • Experience with budgeting, estimating, and financial forecasting • Experience with construction scheduling, logistics, safety, and QA/QC • Experience with design/construction documents and building codes • Experience with contractual expectations and responsibilities • Skilled in clear, timely, and helpful communication • Demonstrated conflict resolution and team-building skills • Excellent time management and prioritization skills • Ability to maintain professional relationships with associates, subordinates, contractors, designers, and the university community

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience on "state-owned" projects with knowledge of higher education facilities requirements, especially in Virginia • Experience with the processes and policies of the Commonwealth of Virginia Construction and Professional Services Manual (CPSM) • Depth of knowledge in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems • Understanding of Erosion and Sediment Control measures and installation practices, with basic emphasis on compliance inspections, reporting, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPP) monitoring • Experience developing and utilizing databases • Knowledge of scheduling software, Bluebeam, Project Management Information System platforms (Procore, BIM 360, etc.), and Microsoft Office
