Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Maintenance ManagerAs the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for establishing a world-class maintenance function to improve facility operations efficiency.
- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
- Utilizes leadership skills to promote a safe and collaborative work environment for all team members
- Oversees housekeeping activities for the shop, ensuring organization and promoting excellence
- Implements spare parts organization and a robust spare parts tracking system
- Partners with the maintenance team to ensure the appropriate mechanical and electrical skill sets are developed or acquired
- Develops improvement processes to reduce cost and improve plant operating efficiency
- Maintains cost control to support facility and organizational goals
- Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Education
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering (required)
Experience- 10+ years of manufacturing/industrial experience (required)
- 5+ years of maintenance supervision experience (required)
- Experience utilizing CMMS (required)
- Experience with reliability excellence and preventative/predictive systems (required)
- Lean experience (preferred)
- BMS experience (preferred)
- DCS/PLC knowledge (preferred)
