Job Description

Maintenance Manager
As the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for establishing a world-class maintenance function to improve facility operations efficiency.

Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
Utilizes leadership skills to promote a safe and collaborative work environment for all team members
Oversees housekeeping activities for the shop, ensuring organization and promoting excellence
Implements spare parts organization and a robust spare parts tracking system
Partners with the maintenance team to ensure the appropriate mechanical and electrical skill sets are developed or acquired
Develops improvement processes to reduce cost and improve plant operating efficiency
Maintains cost control to support facility and organizational goals
Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Education:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering (required)

Experience:

10+ years of manufacturing/industrial experience (required)
5+ years of maintenance supervision experience (required)
Experience utilizing CMMS (required)
Experience with reliability excellence and preventative/predictive systems (required)
Lean experience (preferred)
BMS experience (preferred)
DCS/PLC knowledge (preferred)

Competencies:

Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines with shifting priorities
Excellent problem resolution, with strong judgment and decision making skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
