QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Ten plus years working with the InterSystems technology stack.  Specifically Cache and IRIS.
  • Two plus years EDI experience.
  • Five plus years manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Strong team player with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.   
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Works with internal team to understand and implement software changes and ideas that make the company more productive and competitive.
  • Responsible for customer onboarding process with EDI, labeling, paperwork, etc.
  • Manages both IRIS and Linux updates.  
  • Prepares and maintains technical documentation for ERP system and other IT documents and procedures.
  • Responsible for company's disaster recovery plan.
  • Negotiates with vendors on behalf of the company to ensure cost effective purchasing decisions.
  • Manages a small IT team for system admin activities and software development.
