Overview:

Lead a high-performing team of senior project managers delivering complex, enterprise-scale application initiatives across a large, integrated healthcare system.

 

Work Style: Hybrid
Location: St Augustine, FL 
FTE: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Schedule: Monday – Friday

 

Oversees the full lifecycle of IT projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources and budgets, and mitigating project risks to deliver successful outcomes. Communicates project progress and challenges to stakeholders and senior leadership while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Emphasizes continuous improvement through evaluation of project results and provides leadership and mentorship to team members.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of IT projects, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams, project resources, timelines, budgets, and deliverables to achieve project objectives.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies while proactively developing solutions to maintain project momentum.

• Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and challenges to stakeholders, leadership, and executive teams through regular reporting and presentations.

• Ensure project activities comply with organizational policies, governance standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

• Facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams to ensure project requirements are understood and successfully implemented.

• Monitor project performance, measure outcomes, and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and process optimization.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members while fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.

• Manage vendor relationships, project contracts, and external resources as needed to support project success.

• Support organizational change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new technologies, processes, and systems.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field required.

Preferred Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile, or other project management certification preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.

Required Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing IT projects and leading cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

• Strong experience in project risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.

• Experience utilizing project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.

• Proven ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization efforts, and organizational change projects.
