Manager - Integration Services

Summary

We are seeking a manager for our client to lead the design, delivery, and operational stability of enterprise integrations with a strong focus on Guidewire and connected systems. This position balances hands-on technical leadership with people management, governance, and cross-team alignment to ensure integrations are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned to business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end integration architecture, delivery, and production stability.
  • Lead and develop a team of integration engineers (capacity, coaching, performance).
  • Partner with business, architecture, security, and Guidewire platform teams.
  • Ensure integrations meet availability, performance, security, SOX, and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and release management.
  • Manage vendors and integration tooling relationships.
  • Drive modernization, automation, and continuous improvement across integrations.
  • Execute end-to-end ownership of delivery and operational outcomes.
  • Track KPIs (uptime, incidents, delivery velocity, technical debt).

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in integration or enterprise systems.
  • 3+ years of experience leading technical teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Comfortable balancing hands-on technical depth with leadership responsibilities.
  • Deep experience with enterprise integrations (API, messaging, batch, event-driven).
  • Hands-on Guidewire integration experience (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, ETL, and integration patterns.
  • Experience supporting production systems in regulated environments.
  • Solid knowledge of security fundamentals (authentication, authorization, data protection) and how to document architecture and system dependencies.
  • Proven skills in technical leadership (coaching people, prioritization, accountability).
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable integration solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Experience in incident management, monitoring, and change/release coordination.
  • Experience in tracking KPIs (uptime, incidents, delivery velocity, technical debt).

Preferred

  • Experience with the following:
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
  • Middleware/integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Kafka, MQ);
  • DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing practices;
  • Agile delivery;
  • Modern languages/tools (Java, Gosu, Python, SQL, JavaScript);
  • Integration gateway, Xcenter, or Cloud-native/API-first modernization;
  • P&C Insurance industry.

This is a Permanent opportunity with our South Sioux City, NE client.
