Job Description
This is a leadership position in the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) organization and will serve as the strategic business advisor and partner supporting the Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit (SCU).
The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.
What You'll Do:
As the FP&A strategic business advisor this position will be responsible for supporting strategic and tactical business investment decisions.
Be responsible for developing current, accurate and complete budgets, rates, and performance analysis.
Present financials to SCU leadership and Space & Mission Systems (SMS) executive staff.
Work collaboratively within the Operations SCU to develop financial best practices and coordinate with the Directors within the SCU to develop financial forecasts and budgets.
Ensure business operations are compliant with regulatory requirements and conducted in accordance with best practices.
Develop, promote, and support Finance training to increase financial acumen.
Support business requests, special projects and collaborate with others to optimize business solutions.
This Finance Leader should be effective at developing people:

Support the Forward Pricing Rate Proposal (FPRP) development and audit.
Understand the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), disclosure statements, indirect cost activities and associated allocation methods.
Support disclosure statement updates and cost impact assessments.
Support business operations that are compliant with regulatory requirements and conducted in accordance with best practices. All aspects of the role align with regulations, and comply with Company policies, procedures, tools, and instructions.
Support business risk resolution and opportunity identification and implementation.
Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Perform other duties as necessary.
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions:
Short Term Incentive: Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $134640 - $228888

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
