ASPIRUS ST. LUKE''S HOSPITAL in Duluth, MN is seeking a MANAGER-HOSPITALITY to join our HOSPITALITY ADMIN team!

Salary Range: $30.52 - $48.81 Hourly

Schedule/Hours: DAY ONLY, 8 hours

Weekend Requirement: Generally No Weekends

FTE: FULL TIME, 1.0 FTE or 80 Hours Biweekly

The Hospitality Services Manager is responsible for providing positive leadership and a working environment that promotes teamwork and customer satisfaction. Ensures that the processes, systems and tools which enable the staff to meet the needs of both internal and external customers are available and used. To lead by example in all areas of Hospitality Services: Laundry, Nutrition Services and Housekeeping. To foster and support our mission through respectful words and deeds. To consistently integrate St. Lukes core values in daily activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Services, Business Administration or related field or High School diploma and Hospitality and/or Food Service certification plus required experience.
• Experience: Four (4) years of progressively responsible Hospitality Services environment experience, including two (2) years in a supervisory role or High School diploma with at least four (4) years of Hospitality Services Management experience.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Food Service Manager Certification (SERVESAFE) within ninety (90) days of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Masters Degree in related field.
• Experience: Hospitality Services experience in a health care setting.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• READING - Advanced: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints.
• WRITING - Advanced: Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
• SPEAKING - Advanced: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, top management, public groups, clients, customers, and the general public.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Advanced: Ability to comprehend and apply advanced mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plan and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations and proportions to practical situations.
• REASONING ABILITY - Advanced Skills: Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
