Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and driven professional to join our Compliance team as a Manager, Corporate Compliance. This leadership role is ideal for an individual who excels at visionary strategy, problem-solving, and team empowerment. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Compliance, this position focuses on assessing and mitigating compliance risks in agreements with referral sources, ensuring strict adherence to healthcare regulations and laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute . Key Responsibilities: Evaluate proposed arrangements with referral sources to assess compliance and mitigate risks. Ensure adherence to federal fraud, waste, and abuse laws as well as other healthcare regulations. Analyze referral source agreements, including medical director agreements, personal services agreements, leases, and transactions, ensuring they align with business rationale, partner selection criteria, and fair market value (FMV) . Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business clients, compliance colleagues, and legal teams, to address and resolve compliance concerns. Provide guidance on compliance with federal healthcare laws and regulations. Engage regularly with business leaders to integrate compliance principles into business practices. Manage special projects, prioritizing reviews based on business needs. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess compliance risks beyond specific agreements. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required ( JD, LLM, or MSL a plus ). Minimum of five years of experience as a healthcare legal or compliance professional. Deep understanding of healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse laws, particularly the Anti-Kickback Statute. Proven ability to communicate effectively with business leaders. Demonstrated success in collaborative problem-solving across compliance, legal, and business functions. Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with Salesforce (preferred). On-site presence required at headquarters two days per week ( Tuesdays and Wednesdays ). Willingness to travel out-of-state at least once per year for conferences. Essential Behaviors, Skills, and Attitudes: Highly organized and efficient, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks. Extensive knowledge of healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute. Ability to articulate complex compliance concepts to diverse stakeholders. Proficient in risk identification and mitigation strategies, leveraging data and systems for broader compliance objectives. Hands-on approach, demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented mindset. Strong ownership and accountability, focused on achieving strategic objectives. Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and business acumen. Open to constructive feedback and committed to continuous learning.
