    Manager, Recruiting & Office Management at Amkor Technology, Inc.We are recruiting for a high energy and motivated Manager of Global Accounting to join our Tempe, AZ Corporate Headquarters. The Manager of Global Accounting will provide support to factories worldwide, research and document accounting positions for new, unusual and/or infrequent accounting events, assist in the monthly and quarterly international close process, including oversight of our revenue recognition practices, and work with various departments to analyze and properly account for related transactions.Research and develop accounting positions for new, unusual and/or infrequent accounting eventsProvide support to factories globallyReview journal entries and account reconciliationsPrepare and/or review assigned balance sheet & income statement analytics and fluctuation explanationPrepare and/or review various reports related to the internal and external financial statementsReview customer and/or supplier contracts and determine the appropriate accounting treatments based on US GAAP and company policiesLead elements of accounting, analysis and reporting related to other areas as assignedProvide timely analysis and reporting for crisp decision making to the Executive teamOversight and ownership of assigned key processes and related controlsCollaborate with internal and external auditors regarding compliance with SOX 404 requirementsLead or participate in various ad‑hoc analysis and special projects as assignedSupport development and maintenance of accounting policies and proceduresEnsure consistent global application of accounting policiesIdentify and drive continuous process improvements for the accounting close processRecruit, hire and develop a small team of direct reportsAssist the Director of Global Accounting and the Corporate Assistant Controller as neededQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and at least five (5) years of professional accounting experience in a public accounting firm servicing public clients or equivalent in a large publicly traded companyCPA requiredStrong US GAAP technical knowledgeSubject matter expert for revenue and technical accounting researchProblem solver with excellent analytical and organizational skillsKnowledge and experience with internal controls, processes and SOXSuperior attention to detail and high degree of accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlinesSense of urgency to resolve complex issues quickly and effectivelyAdaptable and flexible in a fast‑paced work environmentQuick learner who grasps new systems and conceptsEffective interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of managementIndependently driven and thrives in a team‑oriented environmentPrior experience mentoring or leading teamsAdvanced proficiency in MS Office, especially ExcelAbility to work flexible hoursExperience with global entities and global accounting background preferredSemiconductor and/or manufacturing experience is a plusExperience with SAP or other ERP systems, and knowledge of Oracle helpfulBenefits:Medical insuranceVision insurance401(k)Paid maternity leavePaid paternity leaveTuition assistanceDisability insurance#J-18808-Ljbffr
