Manager, Fund Accounting - Real Assets

ResponsibilitiesProviding technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients and internallyCoordinate with Operations group, Financial Statement group, Tax group, and Investor Relations groupCoordinate, manage and monitor external audit processReview fund partnership agreements, PPM's and other materialsLead the implementation of fund structures on accounting systemCoach, develop and train staffComplete ad hoc reports as neededReview trading and operations processes for the Company's real assets divisionComplete any other functions required as part of the business of the CompanyQualificationsBachelor or Master level degree (in accounting, finance, economics)5+ years public/private accounting experience7+ years real estate and/or private equity experienceKnowledge and experience in GAAP and IFRSExperience with fair value reporting for real estate investments and debt obligationsKnowledge of Private Equity and Real Estate FundsExperience in reviewing real estate operations and preparation of full sets of financial statements, including notesKnowledge of multi-family and commercial real estate accountingStrong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionalsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProject management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-taskKnowledge and experience in real estate/private equity accounting systems (Yardi, MRI, Investran, etc.)Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel)Salary RangeUSD$ 120,000 - 160,000BenefitsCitco offers a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package including medical, dental, and vision coverage; short and long-term disability benefits; a retirement savings plan; tuition reimbursement; mental health and wellness support; parental leave; and more.
