We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager for our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in the Construction industry. This is a pivotal role that will play a significant part in the financial management of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis functions to drive business growth and profitability. This role requires a dynamic individual who is capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with senior leadership to develop financial targets and budgeting models.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify key business trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and investments.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the treasury function, ensuring optimal cash management and liquidity.
  • Utilize advanced Excel and Oracle skills to streamline financial processes and reporting.
  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required, providing critical insights to guide decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (such as CFA, CPA) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with a deep understanding of financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Oracle, with the ability to manipulate large data sets and build sophisticated financial models.
  • Experience with treasury management and general ledger maintenance.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform complex financial analysis and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to non-financial audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
