Beauty & Salon (Experience in Salon and Beauty)
Role Summary
The Manager, Education Content & Services – Beauty & Salon is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and performance of education content and service experiences across the business. This role ensures functions are aligned to drive sales, customer experience, and business growth. This role is to build and scale a connected education and service ecosystem that drives sales, elevates customer experience, and ensures consistency across all stores.
This leader connects content, services, and education into a cohesive strategy, ensuring that what is created, taught, and delivered in stores translates into consistent execution and measurable results. Owns Content (what we teach), Owns Services (what we deliver), connects both to drive Sales (what we achieve)
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Ownership
• Own the strategy for education content and service experiences across beauty and salon • Align content and services to drive sales performance, customer engagement, and loyalty • Translate business priorities into scalable programs that connect education service sales • Identify opportunities to grow service revenue, product attachment, and overall performance
•Develops and Manages in partnership with Director of Sales and Education Managers the Monthly Train The Trainers working with brands on education for team
•Manages TEACH for Beauty and Salon in partnership with the Director of Sales and Education Managers
Leadership of Teams
• Lead and develop:
• Sr Specialists Beauty and Sr Specialist for Salon • Ensure both areas are aligned, collaborative, and focused on delivering business results • Build leadership capability, accountability, and strong execution within each function • Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement
Content & Service Integration
• Ensure education content supports and elevates service execution and selling behaviors • Align video, digital, and written content with technical service standards and customer experience • Create a seamless connection between what teams learn and how they perform in-store
Service Strategy & Growth
• Oversee development and scaling of service offerings, experiences, and innovations • Ensure services are positioned as a key driver of traffic, revenue, and loyalty • Partner with Merchants and Brands to bring new service concepts and experiences to market
Content Strategy & Scalability
• Oversee creation of high-quality, event sales-driven content across written and video platforms • Ensure content is consistent, engaging, and aligned to business priorities • Drive scalability of education through digital learning and content platforms
Cross-Functional Leadership
• Partner with Sales & Education, Pro Team, Events, Merchants, and Brand partners • Ensure alignment across all functions to deliver a consistent customer and associate experience • Influence broader business strategy related to education, services, and customer engagement
Performance & Execution
• Monitor and drive KPIs including:
• Service revenue and utilization
• Sales performance through eventing
• Content engagement and effectiveness
• Ensure consistent execution across all markets and stores
• Adjust strategies based on performance insights and field feedback
Qualifications
• Proven leadership experience managing multiple functions and leaders • Strong background in beauty, salon services, education, or content development • Experience driving service-based business models and/or content strategy • Strong cross-functional leadership and influencing skills • Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities
• Strategic leader who can connect content, services, and sales • Strong developer of leaders and teams • Results-driven with focus on revenue, experience, and consistency • Innovative and forward-thinking in education and service delivery • Collaborative and highly influential
Requirements of Role:
25% travel to stores
Sales driven and Results oriented for retail and services
In Office 4 Days a Week/1 Day Virtual (Dallas based in office)
Leader of 2 Direct Reports; Sr Specialist for Beauty Content and Sr Specialist for Salon Content
