We are looking to hire a Manager, Dry Dock OHS. The Manager, Dry Dock OHS is responsible for overseeing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) compliance during dry dock operations. This role provides proactive planning, coordination, and execution of safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in dry dock projects. The role works closely with shipboard leadership, contractors, shipyards, and shoreside planning teams to embed safety throughout the full dry dock lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong operational safety leadership experience, a solid understanding of maritime and dry dock environments, and the ability to effectively influence and collaborate across diverse shipboard and shoreside stakeholders.

This role provides centralized oversight of OHS compliance across all dry dock operations and has fleet‑wide impact. The position engages early in the dry dock lifecycle and works across shipboard, shoreside, contractors, and consultants to ensure consistent application of safety standards and continuous improvement.
The role requires independent decision‑making related to operational safety during dry dock, including identifying hazards, evaluating Permit to Work (PTW) risks and constraints, managing competing operational priorities, and addressing non‑compliance in dynamic, high‑risk environments.
This position directly impacts the safety performance of dry dock projects and contributes to fleet‑wide OHS standards, incident prevention, and continuous improvement across Princess Cruises dry dock operations.
While the role has no direct reports, it requires strong functional leadership, influencing shipboard teams, contractors, shipyards, and cross‑functional shoreside partners to drive safety outcomes and compliance.

This position is classified as "in-office." As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Princess office Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the area.
