The Manager of Donor & Community Engagement supports the maintenance of strategic and beneficial relationships with the donors and partners of Tanner Medical Foundation and Tanner Health in support of sustained philanthropic support. This role is responsible for raising visibility of the Tanner Foundation and supporting donor pipeline development and stewardship through coordinating and implementing successful donor stewardship, fundraising, and community engagement events throughout the Tanner Health service areas. This position also assists with various fundraising efforts to support the gift officer team. Additionally, this position assists the Foundation with non-fundraising events such as donor cultivation events, campaign events, physician-initiated events, and philanthropically funded donor events.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: Five years of related experience. Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.

Licenses and Certifications

*Experience working collaboratively with staff at all levels within an organization, as well as with board member, volunteers, and community leaders.

*Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.

*Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.

*Experience with Raiser's Edge software is beneficial.

*Ability to think strategically about how short-term efforts contribute to long-term goals

*Motivated to establish and nurture relationships
