Responsibilities:
Oklahoma Heart Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as a Nurse Manager for the Day Patient Department. This role is ideal for an RN leader with experience in pre-operative (Pre-Op), post-anesthesia care (PACU), ambulatory surgery, same-day surgery, outpatient procedures, cardiac services, Cath Lab, or procedural nursing.
The Nurse Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Day Patient Department while ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, staff engagement, and operational excellence. This position combines clinical leadership and hands-on nursing care, with approximately 75% of time spent providing direct patient care in pre-procedure and post-procedure settings.
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse with current Oklahoma licensure, ACLS within 18 months of hire and current BLS certification required. CCRN preferred.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years continuous clinical experience in a Telemetry and/or Day Patient area which includes two (2) years of recent management experience preferred. Prefer previous experience in the Cath lab or Critical Care Unit.
