Manager, Strategic Partnerships The primary focus of this role will be driving the assessment, diligence, and execution of strategic partnerships related to tech-enabled services, medical devices and analytic products, and other areas across both early-stage and established companies. Manager, M&A The primary focus of this role will be supporting the strategy, identification and execution of acquisitions and investments to support DaVita's long-term growth goals. Areas of focus include healthcare services, value-based care, technology and diagnostics, among other strategic areas. Positions are based in Denver, CO and the team operates in a hybrid (in-person/remote) model. Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Assist with the identification and assessment of potential strategic partnerships that align with the company's objectives, market trends, and competitive landscape. Directly engage patients, physicians, and other key stakeholders to understand the customer perspective Market Research & Sourcing: Conduct primary and secondary market research to test core assumptions and develop partnership theses. Assist with making recommendations to leadership on external investment and partnership opportunities supported by research on market trends, competitive landscape analysis, reimbursement trends, regulatory considerations, and other indicators of business viability Financial Modeling & Valuation: Lead the development of a broad range of financial and valuation models, including sourcing data inputs & assumptions across a broad range of primary / secondary resource Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze partnership performance metrics to evaluate success and inform future strategic decisions Talent Development: Direct line management and development of analyst team with responsibility for their ongoing professional development, training, and performance management Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and industry leaders to foster collaboration and mutual benefit Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align partnership initiatives with business objectives and ensure successful executio Qualifications & Required Skillset: 5+ years of experience in corporate development / strategic partnerships, investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, corporate finance, or a related field, preferably in healthcare M&A: Experience executing or advising on transactions in healthcare Partnerships: Experience assessing strategic opportunities through financial modeling, diligence, and data analysis Familiarity with the clinical, operational, and financial drivers that impact decision-making in a healthcare organization (e.g., services, pharma, device, technology sectors are all relevant) Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, including mastery in the application of a range of financial modeling and business valuation methodologies (e.g., DCF, forecasting, scenario analyses) Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and deliver organizational objectives through immediate team of direct reports Intellectually curious mindset and passion for developing novel acquisition and partnership strategies to i prove patient outcomes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels Highly collaborative, team-oriented workstyle and resourceful problem-solver Capability and desire to build strong internal / external network within the healthcare industry Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, prioritize across multiple initiatives, and navigate change / ambiguity effectively and with professional maturity Approaches work with an unparalleled level of personal ownership, responsibility, integrity, and ethics Personal values in line with DaVita's core values of Service Excellence, Integrity, Team, Continuous Improvement, Accountability, Fulfillment & Fun What We'll Provide: More than just pay, our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most.
