We're looking for a manager of creative copy to drive the creation of bold, original, brand-defining advertising copy. This is a hands-on creative role for a writer who loves concepting campaign copy, crafting headlines, taglines and themes and developing smart, memorable messaging that leaves a mark. You'll partner closely with ideators, designers, video producers, marketers, and stakeholders to develop compelling creative copy that aligns with brand strategy and business goals. This role will take ownership of creative output, lead by example, and raise the bar for our brand's creative voice, without currently managing direct reports. This role will also be responsible for tracking projects through the production process, ensuring clear communication between themselves and other team members, stakeholders, clients and leadership Creative Services Portfolio: https://hcacreativeservices.com/ What you will do in this role: Provide expertise and support in all phases of copywriting for marketing campaigns and creative assetsConcept and write creative advertising copy, including:Campaign ideas and creative platforms Headlines, taglines, and brand linesThemes Advertising and promotional copy across digital, print, social, video, radio and OOHDevelop compelling creative themes and messaging frameworks for campaigns, events and creative initiativesPartner closely with ideators, designers, art directors, and creative leads to bring ideas to lifeOwn copy from initial concept through final execution and productionPush ideas beyond the obvious while staying true to brand strategyMaintain and evolve brand voice, tone, and creative standardsPitch and defend creative concepts to internal stakeholdersProvide thoughtful feedback and creative guidance on copy What qualifications you will need: Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, creative development or similar fields5+ years of experience writing advertising or brand-focused creative copy A portfolio that showcases campaign work, headlines, taglines, and big ideasExtensive experience using project management systems and production workflowsExperience in ideation, developing and pitching creative copy to clients, marketing and branding leadership and executive leadership.A heart for storytelling in the creative spaceStrong conceptual thinking paired with exceptional writing skillsExperience developing integrated campaigns across multiple channelsExperience working in an in-house creative team or agency environment with a background in brand, advertising or creative strategyAbility to take a brief and turn it into original, attention-grabbing creativeConfidence collaborating with designers and creative partnersStrong point of view on creative quality, brand voice, and storytellingComfortable owning work end-to-end and iterating based on feedbackPotential to lead direct reports in the future Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, as well as project management applications (such as Workfront).Ability to create copy in English is required.
