As a Manager, Corporate Security and Emergency Operations you are primarily responsible for managing a team of Security Supervisors. In this role, you would develop plans for prevention and recovery of losses caused by such activities. You serve as a point of contact for security issues requiring communication both internally and externally.

Job Description

The Manager, Corporate Security and Emergency Operations (MCSEO) is primarily responsible for providing senior management with direction and counsel in the area of bank fraud and physical security to mitigate potential and real losses. This position presents documented criminal investigations to law enforcement or the courts and provides testimony as required. The MCSEO works with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies in obtaining arrests, convictions, and restitution for criminal losses. This position responds to emergency situations, 24/7, to direct the activities of BOKF personnel. The MCSEO serves as the Incident Commander when responding to all hazards, emergency situations. This role is responsible for ensuring security programs and strategies are effectively implemented and maintained. The MCSEO plans and conducts executive protection and security for special and high-risk events, and coordinates with local first responders federal agencies, and private security personnel throughout events. The MCSEO monitors and ensures the proper operation of the floor warden program including: AED Equipment, First Aid /CPR training, fire extinguishers, emergency evacuation routes. This position supervises activities of uniformed security personnel within area of responsibility. The MCSEO coordinates with internal clients and external vendors to review existing and develop new security systems for bank facilities and formulate plans for system conversions. This role must stay abreast of on-going maintenance issues with security equipment within area of responsibility and coordinates with the Manager, Security Technology to keep equipment functioning as expected.

How Youll Spend Your Time

  • You will be responsible for fraud investigations as well as setting up safety and security awareness training.
  • You will need to stay up to date on industry changes and standards to ensure the organization is prepared for any and all hazardous and emergency situations.
  • You will conduct visits to all BOK Financial locations in your market to ensure all safety measures are being taken and information is distributed as needed.
  • You will also have correspondence with bank personnel at all levels (up to and including SLT / SVP) regarding documentation and information related to known or suspected criminal activities.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through a Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience in Law Enforcement Investigation; or 10+ years equivalent work experience in security operations; along with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of bank security and safety procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of interviewing and investigation techniques
  • Advanced knowledge of video and access control systems
  • Thorough knowledge of bank operations policies and procedures
  • Thorough knowledge of Bank Protection Act, Regulations P & E
  • Advanced knowledge of Criminal Statutes, rules of evidence and case preparation.
  • Thorough knowledge of federal and state criminal and civil court system
  • Advanced knowledge conducting client/corporation background checks
  • Must meet enhanced criminal background investigation standards tied to concealed to carry functionality
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and possess good driving history
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient PC and Microsoft Office software skills
  • Advanced knowledge of the Incident Command System
