SUMMARY: The Compensation Manager is responsible for researching, establishing and maintaining the company's pay system. This involves researching and understanding the current and upcoming competitive markets for team member pay. The Compensation Manager is also responsible for ensuring that pay rates are fair and equitable in order to retain and recruit team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Accounting, Human resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
6 years of progressively responsible experience in compensation
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
Preferred
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential
