POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

The Mangaer, Commercial Risk & Contracts is a pivotal role responsible for C&I (Commercial & Industrial) solar project management, ranging from contract execution to risk mitigation. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic bridge between Global HQ and local business units, proactively analyzing commercial risks and ensuring the protection of company assets and interests through seamless communication with key stakeholders. This position reports to the Head of CCI Module Sales or another member of senior management that the President of the Company may designate. This position will be based out of our Teaneck office in New Jersey. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead commercial contract review and negotiation support for C&I solar module supply agreements, ensuring alignment with company risk tolerance, commercial objectives, and operational capabilities
  • Monitor project-level commercial exposure, including AR status, customer credit risk, and contract performance, partnering with Finance and Legal to proactively manage risk throughout the project lifecycle
  • Track and manage risks during contract execution, including delivery obligations, pricing exposure, change orders, and compliance with contractual terms
  • Facilitate cross-functional risk alignment by coordinating with headquarters and global stakeholders on key commercial risks, compliance requirements, and contract-related decision-making
  • Own performance management processes for the US commercial business, including development and tracking of sales goals, KPIs, and operational metrics
  • Oversee sales performance analytics and forecasting, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue forecasting, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights for leadership decision-making
  • Develop data-driven hypotheses and strategic recommendations through rigorous internal and external research, supporting commercial risk assessment and executive-level decision processes
  • Serve as a key liaison with global stakeholders, including Qcells headquarters, regional sales entities (Korea, Germany, Japan, etc.), and manufacturing facilities across the US, Korea, Malaysia, and China, ensuring alignment on commercial strategy and operational execution
  • Partner with sales and business development leadership to evaluate and expand new commercial channels, supporting growth initiatives through risk analysis, contract considerations, and operational planning
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, finance, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience with proven records in strategic analysis or related roles.
  • Bilingual in Korean is a must.
  • Advanced level of computer skills – Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.)
  • Strong, professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in meetings, calls, presentations, and emails.
  • Data analysis-related experience preferred.
  • Ability to identify and develop key strategic partnerships.
  • Must be comfortable interfacing outside the company, including executive presentations, negotiations, and contractual reviews.
  • Must be self-motivated, creative, and possess strategic planning skills with a high degree of professionalism and conduct.
  • Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
