What We're Looking For

  • Traditional healthcare leadership experience
  • Experience supporting specialty practice operations
  • Proven success as a Supervisor, Manager, or Clinical Leader
  • Strong relationship-building and team development skills
  • RN background preferred, but not required

Position Details

Title: Clinical Manager
Location: Fond du Lac Regional Clinic
Status: Full-Time, Salaried
Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

  • Flexibility for occasional provider meetings before or after standard business hours (typically 7:00–8:00 AM or 5:00–6:00 PM)
  • Primarily an on-site leadership position
  • Limited remote work flexibility available on an as-needed basis

Job Summary:

Manages the daily operations of the assigned practice site(s) or department(s). Serves as a liaison between physicians and employees, and between the practice or department and other clinical and administrative areas.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops growth strategies and business plans in cooperation with practice or department leadership.
  • Supports financial, budget and business goals. Ensures that staffing is in place to meet the demands of the providers' work schedules.
  • Directly supervises or manages the practice of a minimum of 25 employees and or providers.
  • Supervises multiple teams and/or clinical locations.
  • Monitors the billing and collection functions where applicable. Oversees daily operations of practice or department including but not limited to services, site policies, staff development, and patient flow.
  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment and payroll.
  • Monitors budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts and vendor relations. Assesses quality of and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other providers.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and education


EXPERIENCE

  • Three years' experience, with two years' in leadership

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
