Cash Application Manager
Scope of the Role
The Cash Application Manager oversees the cash application function within the O2C process for CooperCompanies' North America entities in a Global Business Services (GBS) environment. This role ensures accurate and timely application of customer payments, reconciliation of accounts, and resolution of unapplied cash, while maintaining compliance with company policies and SOX requirements. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounts Receivable, the Cash Application Manager leads a team focused on operational excellence and process automation.
Job Summary
The Cash Application Manager is responsible for managing daily cash application activities, ensuring payments are posted accurately across multiple ERP systems, and resolving discrepancies promptly. This position supports month-end close, assists with audits, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
