We are excited to offer a secondment opportunity for a Manager, Business Application Development to join the Supply Chain Digital Team at Pfizer Sanford. In this role, you will help accelerate the site’s digital transformation by building innovative, data-driven solutions that empower users, streamline processes, and support high-quality, compliant operations.

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide clear, actionable insights to business needs.

  • Build and Maintain data models and dataflows to support reporting, analytics, and scalable solution development.

  • Develop and support automated workflows using tools such as Power Automate to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify needs, and translate them into effective technical solutions.

  • Support the implementation of standardized data structures and best practices to ensure consistency and maintainability across solutions.

  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from a variety of data sources.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues, maintaining reliability and accuracy of digital solutions.

  • Support user adoption by providing guidance, documentation and training where appropriate.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to enhance existing tools and processes.

  • Work collaboratively within the Digital Engineering Team, leveraging diverse skill sets to deliver high-quality outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 4+ years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 2+ years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR an associate's degree with 8+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10+ years of relevant experience.

  • Strong background in various Information Technology practices.

  • Proven expertise in business processes within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the drug development process.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.

  • Ability to manage or coordinate large, complex activities across disciplines.

  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning solutions.

Nice-to-Have

  • Data Visualization & Reporting.

  • Experience with Power BI or similar tools such as Tableau.

  • Understanding of effective data visualization and dashboard design principles.

  • Data Modeling & Transformation.

  • Experience with data modeling and working with structured datasets.

  • Proficiency in Power Query or similar ETL tools.

  • Automation.

  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as Power Automate.

  • Ability to support development and maintenance of automated processes.

  • Data Connectivity.

  • Experience connecting to multiple data sources (databases, files, enterprise systems).

  • Understanding of data refresh and data reliability considerations.
