Job Summary:

Americo is seeking a Manager of Business Analysis & Quality Assurance to lead a talented team of Business Analysts (BAs) and Quality Assurance Analysts (QAs) in delivering high-quality technology solutions that support critical business initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing team of Business Analysts and Quality Assurance Analysts, encouraging professional growth and collaboration
  • Create a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement and delivery excellence
  • Partner with business leaders, project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, expectations, and successful outcomes
  • Oversee business analysis practices, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, actionable, and aligned to business needs
  • Guide quality assurance efforts, including test strategy, defect management, and the continued advancement of testing best practices and automation
  • Support resource planning, workload balancing, and project prioritization across the BA and QA teams
  • Monitor key performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve team efficiency, delivery quality, and operational processes
  • Champion collaboration and communication across departments to help teams work effectively together and deliver exceptional results
  • Help shape and evolve internal standards, workflows, and best practices within the software development lifecycle

What You Bring

  • 5–7 years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Quality Assurance roles
  • 2–3 years of leadership or people management experience
  • Strong understanding of business analysis, software testing, and quality assurance methodologies
  • Experience working within SDLC environments using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and team development
  • Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industries preferred
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational leadership

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
