A Management Analyst II job is available with the City of Fort Worth, Transportation & Public Works Department, Business Support Division. This position will perform a variety of duties including fiscal monitoring of Community Facility Agreement (CFA) projects, processing of invoices, financial reconciliation, project closures and capitalization, and supervision of one employee.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Two (2) years of experience in the analysis of processes, procedures, operations, systems or methods, including experience in the functional area of assignment such as budget/financial management, research analysis or related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience
  • Experience in contract analysis, governmental and capital project accounting, and complex data analysis
  • Knowledge of capital asset accounting and capitalization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong experience in Excel creating pivot tables, linking data, and conducting analysis
  • Knowledge of various enterprise software packages such as PeopleSoft, Trimble Unity Construct (eBuilder), JD Edwards, etc
  • Demonstration of lean principles and exceptional customer service

The Management Analyst II job responsibilities include:

  • Supporting CFA projects throughout their lifecycle, including funding setup, financial tracking, identifying gap funding, reconciliation, and project closure
  • Experience with Full Cycle Accounts Payable and Procurement
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and variance analysis
  • Capital project financial review and contract management support for Project and Program Managers
  • Serve as a liaison to external vendors, contractors, Financial Management Services, FWLAB and other City departments
