Mammography Technologist- Part-Time

 

Location: Holladay, UT

Schedule: Negotiable Hours; Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Pay: $40–$60 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Summary

We are seeking a certified Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a patient-focused clinical environment. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

 

**Certified by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) OR licensed to perform general radiographic procedures in the state of Utah REQUIRED.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Passion for patient care and ability to communicate courteously and effectively
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills with physicians, staff, and patients
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Dependable, flexible, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated independent judgment in performing procedures and managing complex situations
  • Ability to perform exams on patients of all ages and genders using appropriate protocols and ACR guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and willingness to assist colleagues as needed
  • Assist with advanced mammography procedures
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness, safety standards, and sterile techniques
  • Prepare patients for mammography exams, including pre-screening, reviewing medical history, and proper gowning
  • Perform mammography procedures using proper positioning and technique to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
  • Assist in optimizing and implementing imaging protocols to enhance image quality

 

Education & Certification Requirements

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

 

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Prolonged standing and walking
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and imaging equipment
  • Work performed in an indoor, climate-controlled clinical setting
