Position Summary

The Mammography Technologist performs high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms in a mobile setting while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and compliance with all regulatory standards. This role also supports multi-state operations, equipment readiness, accreditation, and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality mammography exams following established protocols

  • Prepare and position patients while providing a calm, supportive experience

  • Explain procedures and answer patient questions professionally

  • Ensure image quality and repeat scans when necessary

  • Practice radiation safety for patients and staff

  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and records

  • Assist with inspections, licensing, and accreditation readiness

  • Monitor mobile unit supplies and equipment functionality

  • Coordinate service calls and preventative maintenance when needed

  • Support mammography operations in Texas and additional service states

  • Help recruit, train, and mentor new Mammography Technologists

  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

  • ARRT Certification required

  • Mammography Certification required

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

  • Current BLS certification

  • Experience with inspections/accreditation strongly preferred

  • Ability to travel out of state (all travel accommodations covered)

  • Strong communication and patient care skills

  • Comfortable working independently and on the road

  • Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

  • Experience with computer systems and imaging technology

Schedule

  • Full-Time

  • 8-hour shifts

  • Monday to Friday

  • Occasional weekends as needed
