Mammography Technologist - Contract

Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
Facility: Medlock Medical Imaging

Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week (5x8-hour shifts)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Mammography experience within the specialty.
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.
• Required Certifications:
  • AHA BLS
  • ARRT Mammography Certification
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and privacy throughout procedures.
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment, performing routine quality control to ensure optimal image quality.
• Assist radiologists with breast imaging procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the Cerner electronic medical record.
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and quality assurance standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and the multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional outpatient imaging services.

Position Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Monday through Friday day shift in an outpatient imaging setting.
