Education Requirement- Work requires required registry/certification in applicable imaging modality - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB).
Experience- Four years of experience in an imaging modality (Radiologic Tech, MR, CT, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, Interventional Radiology) is required.
- Two years of team leader or applicable supervisory experience is highly preferred.
Licensure/Certifications- Certification as prescribed by ARRT, ARDMS/CCI, and/or NMTCB.
- BLS certification
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities- Supervision of Mammography Techs.
- Partnering with Ultrasound Techs and Nurse Navigators.
- Procedure scheduling.
