Maintenance Technician II | Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital | Maryland Heights, MO

If you can troubleshoot independently, manage a work order queue, and take pride in keeping a pediatric hospital running safely, this might be the right fit.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends. Shift start times of 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM.

What We Offer

  • A collaborative, team focused, positive work environment
  • Opportunity to expand your role for career growth
  • Autonomy to add to your position by being proactive
  • Competitive compensation, PTO, and benefits package

Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital serves children and adolescents with complex medical needs. Our facilities team plays a direct role in keeping this environment safe and functional every single day. We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician II who can work through a varied task load with minimal direction.  Additionally, the ability to identify potential issues and address them, is a huge piece of this role.

What the Role Looks Like

You'll perform intermediate-level maintenance and repairs across building systems, equipment, and facility spaces, working through assigned work orders, completing preventative maintenance on schedule, and troubleshooting routine to moderately complex issues on your own. Day-to-day work includes plumbing fixtures, doors and locks, lighting, walls, ceilings, furniture, and general building components. You'll also support room setups, equipment moves, and emergency response procedures as needed.  We are also a group that helps each other get the job done, so being flexible is a must.

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience in facilities maintenance, building repair, or a related trade. This is not an entry-level position.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
  • Experience with work order or ticketing systems preferred.
  • Healthcare facilities experience a plus.
  • An upbeat, positive, flexible attitude and a passion for helping the kids
  • High school diploma required; technical training or trade certification preferred.

Why Ranken Jordan?

If you're looking for a maintenance role where your work truly makes a difference every day, we'd love to connect with you.
