Performs highly diversified duties, troubleshooting, routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on IHC and PTP buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems. All work will be done in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
Skills/Experience Required or Preferred
• At least 3 years experience in grounds and facilities maintenance required. • Knowledgeable in maintenance procedures and methods with a good understanding electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other systems. • Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including hand and power tools. • Excellent communication skills are essential. • Must maintain up to date and accurate records on work performed, and work needed.
Education
High School diploma or GED, training in building maintenance technology or relevant field preferred.
