Position Summary

The Maintenance & Warehouse Technician is responsible for a variety of tasks related to building maintenance, facility upkeep, and warehouse operations. The role involves a mix of recurring responsibilities and flexible daily scheduling to meet the evolving needs of the business.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance

  • Perform facility upkeep and repairs including painting, drywall repair, light electrical and plumbing work, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance.
  • Conduct routine inspections of company facilities.
  • Maintain and organize supplies, ensuring they are stocked and in working order.
  • Maintain company tools and equipment, including forklifts, pallet wrappers, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Perform snow removal and grounds maintenance as needed.
  • Run general errands and pick up supplies.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with company vendors, contractors, and tenants.
  • Assist on various construction projects as assigned.

Warehouse Operations

  • Assist with product-related projects, quality control work, and warehouse organization.
  • Unload trucks and organize pallets and other items as needed.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including cardboard baler, styrofoam compactor, and pallet jacks.
  • Maintain a clean working environment through sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and general housekeeping.

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma required.

Experience

Previous maintenance experience and/or warehouse operations preferred.

License / Certification

Valid driver’s license required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Familiarity with Gmail and Google Drive applications preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and adjust priorities based on business needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Working Conditions

Physical Requirements

  • Standing for sustained periods of up to 8 hours per day.
  • Walking, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions.
  • Visual acuity to perform accurate measurements and repairs.
  • Climbing ladders and driving as needed.

Lifting Requirements

  • Ability to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally.

Atmospheric Conditions

  • Subject to noise, temperature changes, and general warehouse conditions.
