Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall upkeep and safety of our apartment community, providing residents with a comfortable and well-maintained living environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility maintenance, Bi-Lingual (SPANISH/ENGLISH), excellent problem-solving skills, and have basic computer knowledge.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment equipment and systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management, addressing issues efficiently and effectively.- Assist with preventative maintenance initiatives to prolong the life of equipment and minimize future repairs.- Collaborate with team members to complete projects and tasks as needed, ensuring a safe and pleasant living environment for residents.- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time logs and maintenance reports.- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards to maintain a secure and hazard-free community.
Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role, preferably within a residential setting.- Strong knowledge of various maintenance procedures and techniques.- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.- Ability to troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues efficiently.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service mindset.- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
