Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong industrial electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience to support reliable operations at our Graniteville, SC facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving production and facility equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and minimizing downtime. Candidates with high-voltage electrical maintenance experience are highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical systems, mechanical components, and industrial equipment while following safety procedures and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
Troubleshoot equipment failures using diagnostic tools, schematics, and manuals.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Document maintenance activities and repairs in the CMMS.
Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues before failures occur.
Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.
Support continuous improvement and maintenance projects.

Qualifications

High-voltage electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience is a major plus.
Strong industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Proficient in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Knowledge of industrial safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Experience using diagnostic tools and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or a related field is a plus.
