Maintenance Technician

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. 
OR six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Manufacturing, GMP/FDA experience

PLC Troubleshooting, Electrical exp. AC/DC, Motors, wiring... 

Strong Mechanical Aptitude 

• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines
• Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Locate sources of problems, remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Fabricate/repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Promotes, adheres, and is responsible for Food Safety and Quality.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Any other duties as assigned.
