We are seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to support IC manufacturing operations at a semiconductor wafer fab in Santa Rosa, CA — approximately one hour north of San Francisco in wine country.

**Role Overview**

The Maintenance Technician will maintain and repair sophisticated electro-mechanical equipment in a semiconductor IC fab environment involving high vacuum, sub-micron precision, exotic chemistry, and advanced imaging. This role works closely with process engineers, operators, and the Equipment Engineering team on volume production and R&D process development.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Maintain and repair electro-mechanical equipment including high vacuum systems, precision instruments, and advanced manufacturing tools

- Work with process engineers and operators to support production and R&D

- Work with suppliers to source spare parts and coordinate service visits

- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs

- Assist in legacy tool retirement and development of written maintenance procedures

- Install new process tools; develop PM and repair procedures

- Assist with hardware improvements and automation projects

- Collaborate with Equipment Engineering across mechanics, electronics, materials science, and software disciplines

**Requirements**

- 5–7 years of maintenance experience with manufacturing equipment or complex systems

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard engineering practices

- Strong verbal and email communication skills

- Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and solve complex problems independently

- Ability to learn quickly and work with cutting-edge technologies

- Night shift availability (permanent night shift position)

- Must be authorized to work in the US — no visa sponsorship available

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Previous semiconductor equipment maintenance experience — highly desired

- AS/BA/BS in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field; OR military electronics training

- Experience across disciplines: mechanics, electronics, materials science, software

- High vacuum technology experience (deposition, etching technologies, RF sources)

- Experience with RF/microwave systems

**Work Environment**

Industrial / manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, electrical systems, and varying temperatures. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required.

**Compensation**

- Base Salary: $67,030 – $111,720
