This role requires travel between assigned school in the following locations:
Nashville, Tennessee
Memphis, Tennessee
Clarksville, Tennessee
Chattanooga, Tennessee

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require:
A high school diploma or GED
3+ years of maintenance experience in a commercial or residential setting
A valid driver’s license
The ability to pass all background checks
Candidates must have their own set of tools, including but not limited to: drill, impact driver, various sizes of screwdrivers, hammer, electric meter, voltage detector, and wrenches
Compensation: $60,000 annually

Main Job Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, general repairs, and facility improvements to interior and exterior spaces
Diagnose and troubleshoot facility issues, completing repairs or coordinating with vendors as needed
Ensure all work areas are safe, clean, and secure, especially in child-accessible spaces
Utilize Service Channel to receive, track, and complete work orders
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with center staff, landlord, and vendors
Travel between sites to perform repairs, including minor plumbing, HVAC filter changes, painting, irrigation work, carpentry, electrical work, and more
Support the cleaning, prepping, and closing of swimming pools (if applicable)
Responsibly handle chemicals and follow safety protocols
Provide suggestions for improvements in operational or energy efficiency
Physical Requirements:
The role involves a range of physical activities necessary for performing maintenance work effectively and safely:
Standing: Remaining in a stationary position for extended periods
Walking/Moving: Frequently moving throughout the facility to access various work areas and equipment, sometimes over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
Bending, Kneeling, Crouching, and Stooping: Positioning oneself to access equipment and perform tasks, including under desks and within confined areas
Lifting and Carrying: Regularly lifting and moving equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs independently; heavier items (75–100 lbs) lifted with team assistance
Pushing and Pulling: Exerting force to move equipment, tools, and other objects
Climbing: Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and working from elevated positions or on scaffolding
