At IMT, our Service Technicians (Maintenance Technician) are more than maintenance professionals — they’re key contributors to the community experience. In this role, you’ll help maintain a beautiful, welcoming environment while building meaningful connections with residents through outstanding service and responsiveness.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of maintenance issues in apartment homes, common areas, and community grounds, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and pool systems
• Help maintain the overall appearance and curb appeal of the community to create a first-class resident experience
• Prepare apartment homes for new residents efficiently and to IMT’s high-quality standards
• Utilize a company-provided tool set to complete daily responsibilities
• Partner closely with the Service Manager and Community Manager on special projects and community needs
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to emergency maintenance requests

What We’re Looking For

• Previous maintenance experience in residential property management, hospitality, or a related field
• Strong hands-on skills across multiple maintenance disciplines, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general repairs
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionally
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a resident-first mindset
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred (CPO certification is a plus)
• Comfortable using technology platforms such as Outlook and SuiteSpot
• Valid driver’s license required
