Maintenance Technician

Lorien Mount Airy is looking to hire a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our existing team! This role is vital in helping fulfill the care requirements of our patients and residents, while ensuring our community remains safe, functional, and well maintained 🏡

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the proper and safe preparation, repair, application, and ongoing maintenance of painted or related surfaces, both interior and exterior throughout the Lorien community. This role also supports general building maintenance as needed

💰 Pay & Schedule

• Full‑Time, Monday-Friday, Required weekend on-call rotation 
• $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform routine preventive maintenance inside and outside the building
• Oversee and coordinate work performed by outside contractors as needed
• Help maintain a safe, functional, and well‑kept environment for residents and staff

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Strong HVAC knowledge or certification
• Experience with plumbing, painting, and electrical work
• Must be able to handle a physical workload
